INGREDIENTS
4 oz plain flour
1 dessertspoon (2 tsp) baking powder
1 tsp castor sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 oz butter
4 fl oz milk
Method
- Pre-heat oven 200˚ C, 400˚ F
- Stir together flour, baking powder sugar & salt
- Rub in butter until crumbly
- Stir in milk to make a soft dough
- Drop by spoonfuls into your favourite boiling stew
- Cover and simmer for 15 minutes
